Osama Bin Laden is Dead

It's time to move on and to quit letting him determine so much of our policy and spending priorities. He did so for the last 20 years.

As Rachel Maddow recently pointed out, we've trashed our own economy and our society trying to protect ourselves from this man and to get back at him.

Curious how these things work out. Osama bin Laden sent 19 guys armed with nothing more than box-cutters and succeeded where Hitler, Stalin, and The Japanese Empire with their enormous armies failed. He sent the United States into a panicked tail-spin from which we have yet to fully emerge.

And after trillions of dollars spent, a huge mushrooming national security state, 2 wars, and thousands dead, Osama is taken out in a fly-by-night whack job.
