I wonder ...

Could anyone storming the Bastille in 1789, or pulling down a statue of King George III in 1775 answer satisfactorily a time traveling CNN or NPR reporter asking them, "What are your demands? What is your agenda? What do you hope to accomplish?"

Maybe not, but I still think it would be helpful to have goals.

Besides, we own stocks as do many other small investors, so are we Wall Street?

Bread. Same answer then as now.

Grandmere --you are not Wall Street. It is not the responsible small investors driving us all in the ground.

Just to be clear, I think the big banks and finance marketeers do evil. They manipulate the economies of entire countries and virtually the entire world so they get theirs now and to hell with the consequences for anyone else. But if I were out there demonstrating, I'd have to be clearer about goals. But hey! That's me.

Tou-effing-che'!

It's called "Occupy Wall Street": if that's all they ever do---especially if they do it perfectly, filling it up, so there's no more room for the bankers *cough* THIEVES *cough*---that would be MORE than enough!

I swear, these reporters. Like the proverbial Zen Master, when they ask one of their inane questions, I want to respond w/ a {slap!}

Not to mention a reporter from Fox News.

(Needless to say, Fox never put this on the air.)

Tristan, thank you for the link. That's exactly what I want to see. When I've talked to folks who think the demonstrations are an outrage, which group does not include me, I want to be able to answer them when they ask me what the demonstrators want.

I know what the people out there want. They want some measure of justice and equality in the country, and I want the same, but I want specifics for why they are willing to put themselves out there day after day, and I believe the demonstrators will have more impact because of the release of the statements.

The video with Kossack Jesse La Greca works, too, and I will post it and hope it goes viral.
